Published: 15 December 2011 Sagittarius took pole position again to be the dedicated digital support for The Race Of Champions Weekend. This international motorsport event features some of the world's best racing and rally drivers such as Formula 1 World Champions Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button to name but a few.

Sagittarius' new 'ground breaking' software broadcasted the Race Of Champions race highlights and results as they happened. Sagittarius added more features to The Race of Champions website to include mobile optimised pages and even a 'VIP' area for the drivers in time for the launch of the 2011 event.

The website is easily viewable to all mobile browsers where fans stayed up-to-date with all the driver and event news as it broke. Content on mobiles was quick and easy to find and bold imagery enhanced the overall visitor experience. Plus, load times were kept down to encourage viewing latest videos.

Live content updated the organisers, TV and international media throughout the event. Fans' appetite for online content was fierce again in 2011 with a 43% uplift in the Fanbase to over 16,300 likes. There were 1.7 million post views in two weeks and over 43,500 visitors to the mobile website in 30 days.

The media-rich website integrated live timing and instant results on the website. There were 100,000 online views of the live broadcast and the video highlights made it to the top 10 listings on both iTunes and YouTube for a second year running.
