We are helping the A Level Business students at the Marsh Academy to market a soup recipe flip book for charity - proceeds go to the RSPCA. The soups in the book are the result of a Shepway-based school compeition - Sweat, Simmer and Squash - where families created and produced a unique soup at their primary school.
Sagittarius have been enlisted to work with the group of 10 16/17 year olds for a number of sessions at the school during April and May - helping them with their marketing plan and focussing their plans in the 'real world' - advising them on obtaining publicity, sponsors, compiling and publishing the books, and how to sell and dsitribute the books. A facebook group ' The Soup Project' has been set up and the books should be available in the summer term through schools and other outlets.
The book will be illustrated by a budding artist chosen through a sixth form / college competition running currently.
