We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Client Services team.

You will be owning, managing and developing clients and proactively adding value to a predefined client base to ensure that Sagittarius’s clients achieve their business aims and objectives.

You will be the main revenue generator and planner within a Pod who also manages, plans and produces marketing campaigns for a set client base, and you will ensure that customer service and customer satisfaction are always top priorities. You will also be required to proactively look for new business opportunities in order to add revenue to your Pod.

key responsibilities

  • Owning a predefined client base and being responsible for that client base’s individual and collective spend with Sagittarius and the profitability of that spend through the operation of a client Profit and Loss account
  • Developing and sustaining a deep holistic understanding of the client’s business, using this understanding to drive the client’s marketing agenda by leading the marketing strategy and budget setting for your clients across all marketing channels (Search, Social, Offline, Mobile etc.)
  • Informing and converting client briefs into profitable projects for Sagittarius. Then ensuring all client briefs are understood and handed over to your Pod Project Manager accurately and in a timely fashion. Upon completion, being part of the QA and handover team for a project to a client
  • Engaging Producers or other key members of the Pods in order to deliver competitive, compelling and accurate project proposals in times of suitability to meet the brief, time and costs allocated
  • Constantly looking for cross sell and up sell opportunities from the full range of services provided by Sagittarius as well as looking at introducing emerging channels and technologies through thought leadership
  • Consistently ensuring the customer service levels are high and that Sagittarius is a valued partner to its clients
  • To provide a weekly report for the Managing Director and Senior Management team which clearly highlights current projects, revenue/project pipeline, communications stats and client P&L
  • To find and develop the assigned client base through the introduction of new clients and new revenues
  • Agree studio ‘time based’ quotes for client jobs and prepare them for presentation to the client
  • Lead or assist in client presentations of work and tenders for work as required. Progress client projects through the studio to time schedules as agreed.
  • Monitor and record hours spent on each client project.

  • You will understand the value of extremely high standards of customer service and able to build solid and enduring relationships
  • To be highly analytical – able to understand and feedback after analysing large amounts of data
  • To have good literacy and fluency of language for preparing documents, and be able to convey complex messages
  • Be aware of the practical application of technology and return on investment (ROI)
  • You will be self-motivated and able work independently
  • You will be tactful and diplomatic, able to listen and interpret client’s ideas into commercial viable briefs and project plans.

£35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience (plus commission)
