This is a newly created role within the agency with several main areas of focus; improving performance of ongoing digital marketing campaigns through better use of data, helping better measure success, and helping clients to improve website user experience through personalisation.

the day to day

Working primarily within the digital marketing team you will analyse client website analytics and campaign data with an aim of:

  •  Integrating and comparing data from multiple sources (website analytics, platform performance data, client conversion and customer data).

  • Identifying key insights around engagement, conversion and audiences to help improve campaign targeting and optimisation.

  • Improving our tracking and measurement of key outcomes in client campaigns.

  • Providing regular reporting to the internal team and to clients.

  • Creating and maintaining average client and vertical performance data from multiple data sources to help benchmark new and existing campaigns.

  • Identifying, specifying and reviewing multi variate testing across PPC, content marketing and email marketing campaigns.

You will also support the website development team on a project basis in the areas of personalisation, segmentation, User Experience and Conversion Rate Optimisation consultancy.

This will include:

  • Helping map data sources and identify ways to integrate these across channels to create a single customer view.
  • Participating in and supporting consultancy workshops to map and score different user engagement touch points.
  • Creating personas and personalisation rules within web platforms.Sharing insights to improve website engagement, performance and personalisation.

Whilst the main focus of your role will be the analysis of data, you should be comfortable and competent in explaining your methodologies and findings to both internal colleagues, teams and clients.

We would expect you to be constantly challenging conventional wisdom, posing key questions and finding new ways to answer these questions through meaningful and actionable insights. 

You must have a very strong skill-set in web analytics, plus a strong interest in the latest advances in website personalisation and digital marketing.
