The Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI) is a charity that brings the best medical professionals in the world together in order to carry out research on pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) which can be more commonly described as high blood pressure in the lungs.

(PVRI) has appointed Sagittarius, to develop a new digital learning initiative to further facilitate education of a commonly undiagnosed illness in the form of an E-learning app.

With reduced funding and low awareness, Pulmonary Hypertension is an important issue across the world and challenge for PVRI is to increase the awareness and improve the treatment of the condition via training with clinicians.

With experts based across the globe the training needed to be user friendly and as life like as possible to ensure effective diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension. Enabling clinicians to assess risks and provide guidance on treatment.

The app also needed to be 'stand-out' in the market for its look, feel and content.

Sagittarius are currently in the process of developing an e-learning app and assisting with web development of the PVRI online identity which aims intended to drive awareness and improve the diagnosis and treatment of PVD.

The initiative is being developed to shadow a real-life scenario as closely as possible, including patient and specialists video content and imagery, authentic medical charts, data and test results (with all contributors remaining anonymous).

The new e-learning app will also bring clinicians together across the work to discuss PH and treatments available, linking back to the PVRI website.

The app is still in development but please check back soon for further exciting updates on this industry leading development.
