Jacksons Fencing are a leading UK garden fencing manufacturer supplying premium metal and wooden garden fencing, fence panels, gates & accessories.

Jacksons engaged with Sagittarius to develop a multichannel digital marketing campaign targeted across a 4 week period.

This campaign was different to anything Jacksons has done before and used purely digital channels, new formats and cinemagraphs.


The objective of the campaign was to test new digital channels. drive traffic to the website and, ultimately, deliver increased YOY sales during an off-peak season: Autumn.

The challenge of the campaign was to engage target audiences across a multitude of digital environments with relevant campaign messaging. Sagittarius approached this with a data-led approach, using insights such as Google Trends research data to understand what the online community was talking about in relation to their gardens and, therefore, how to best engage them with Jacksons' product.


The #autumnready campaign was born!

This multi-channel campaign integrated Display ads, Native advertising, Facebook ads, Twitter ads, Instagram and Pinterest, grouped into 'awareness raising' and 'traffic driving' channels. These channels were used to encourage our target audience to 'batten down the hatches' and make sure their gardens were #autumnready.

Multiple versions were produced of both the campaign creative and landing pages, enabling Sagittarius to test and optimise the campaign for peak performance.


The Jacksons Autumn Campaign exceeded performance expectations and delivered the following results:

  • 894,578 impressions
  • 49,724 Clicks
  • £0.33 CPA
  • 23% uplift in YOY sales
