Today, Sitecore has announced the 2024 Sitecore MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals)! This is the 18th year of the programme, with several MVPs named for the first time. This includes the youngest MVP in Sagittarius history, Optimisation Executive, Issy Stephen.
The Sitecore MVP programme recognises members of the Sitecore community from across the globe. The winners are not only platform experts but have demonstrated a commitment to sharing their knowledge across the community over the last 12 months. This includes other Sitecore users, customers and prospects. There are three categories: Ambassador, Strategy and Technology.
We’re thrilled to announce that not one but FIVE of our Remarkable team were named Sitecore MVPs for 2024. These were Ian MacArthur, Shahla Matar, Christine Bookless, Rob McGovern and Issy Stephen. Our team were amongst just 31 Strategy MVPs and 69 Ambassadors globally, amongst a community of over 30,000 active members.
This year’s MVPs were selected by a panel of Sitecore employees. The panel ranged from developers to members of the executive team, who reviewed the quality, quantity and impact of the contributions entrants made in 2023. This includes the sharing of product expertise and advanced knowledge of the Sitecore platform to support partners and customers.
We’re celebrating the youngest MPV in Sagittarius history, Issy Stephen, who was named Sitecore MVP for Strategy. “I am thrilled and honoured to receive my first Sitecore Strategy MVP award! Being part of the Sitecore Community is an incredible privilege, and I am grateful for the opportunity. It’s especially rewarding to share this recognition with four of my outstanding colleagues from Remarkable Group. Looking forward with great anticipation to the opportunities and experiences that 2024 will bring!”
Rob McGovern, is receiving his third Sitecore MVP in a row. “It’s an honour to be recognised for the third year in a row for my contributions to the Sitecore community, especially in the presence of my Remarkable Group colleagues. There is so much happening in the Sitecore ecosystem at the moment. It is incredibly exciting to be a part of it. I can’t wait for what the upcoming year brings.”
Head of Experience, Christine Bookless said, “I am absolutely ecstatic to be awarded the Strategy MVP title for the second year now. To be recognised by my peers in the wonderful Sitecore community means the world to me. I have so much love for you all and I’m super excited to see what the community brings in 2024.”
CEO, Ian MacArthur, said, “I’m proud to be recognised among a super select group of Sitecore experts that really can make a difference for customers.”
Finally, Chief Growth Officer MENA, Shahla Matar was named Sitecore MVP in the Ambassador category. “I’m genuinely honoured and humbled to be named MVP for the 4th year in a row. Recognition for all that we do should not be taken lightly; it’s what keeps us all going!”
