In support of this position, we regularly attend and sponsor Sitecore events, such as the most recent at DX in Minneapolis and GITEX in Dubai. We continue this into November, attending and sponsoring the Sitecore Partner & Customer events on Wednesday 1st November, as well as hosting the Sitecore User Group at our London Headquarters on Thursday 9th November.
As partners, we’re excited to be attending the Partner event on the morning of the 1st November, where we’ll hear further updates on the composable future of Sitecore and more about the exciting announcements we were lucky to see at DX Minneapolis.
The Customer event will then be held at the Everyman Cinema, Broadgate in the afternoon and is set to be even more exciting for customers and prospective Sitecore users, as Sitecore brings its customers and teams back together to continue the discussion around composable technologies.
Business and marketing-focused peers from across the UK will be able to hear directly from leading Sitecore customers and partners and come away with practical steps and actions to speed up the transition to a cloud-native Digital Experience Platform. The event aims to inspire and excite, showcasing the transformative potential of technologies in the Sitecore ecosystem, highlighting how they can be leveraged to overcome challenges and fuel innovation. Hosted in our London Shoreditch office, just a short walk from Shoreditch High Street and Old Street stations, the 4th UK Sitecore Technical User Group meet-up of 2023 will feature talks from experts from the Sitecore community, including our very own Sean Carter, as well as time to catch up with contacts and make new connections.
Sean Carter, Head of Sitecore Development, will be hosting a talk titled: “Sitecore Content Search: Building a frontend for Sitecore Search results”. With the announcement of XM Cloud Plus, Sitecore Search becomes even more interesting. In this session Sean will outline some of the challenges around adoption of Sitecore Search and highlight the approach for building a UI frontend for Sitecore Search results.
Other talks will come from Julius Angwenyi from Avanade and Alex Washtell from Kasaku. Julius’ talk “Streaming Seamlessly: Integrating Content Hub with your existing video streaming platform” will feature a hands-on demo on how you can integrate Content Hub with your existing video delivery platforms for your end users. Julius will cover use of Action scripts, APIs, Web SDK, C# Azure Func app and more. Now we have Headless SXA through Sitecore 10.3 and XM Cloud, Alex’s session titled “From JSS to Headless SXA” will explore what is included, and show how you can get started with Headless SXA.
